Christmas
Wednesday 23 December
You’ll be welcomed with coffee, tea, and a treat. In the evening, we’ll serve the four-course “Pre-Christmas” menu: a festive start to the Christmas season.
Thursday 24 December – Christmas Eve
During the day, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a treatment in our wellness center. In the afternoon, we invite you to our specially decorated winter garden, where the sounds of the midwinter horn players create a traditional ‘Twentse’ Christmas atmosphere.
In the evening, we’ll welcome you with a Christmas cocktail and a culinary journey. Our talented chefs will prepare seven refined dishes featuring local ingredients and game. The evening will feature a mobile setup, allowing you to take a peek into our kitchen, among other things. Harpist Janne Minke van den Heuvel will provide the musical accompaniment.
Friday 25 December – Christmas Day
The day begins with a festive Christmas breakfast. In the afternoon, we’ll host a casual wine tasting: a great opportunity to select your favorite wines for dinner.
The champagne cocktail will be followed by the five-course “Diner-dansant de Noël.” The salon orchestra Die Flegel will provide the dance music, and we’ll wrap up the evening with espressos and friandises.
Saturday 26 December
After a generous Christmas breakfast with sparkling wine, you can set out on a midwinter horn walk through the winter landscape around De Lutte. In the afternoon, we’ll welcome you back to our cozy winter garden.
The evening begins with a festive aperitif, followed by the five-course “Diner-dansant de Noël.” The salon orchestra Die Flegel will provide the music for this evening as well. We’ll wrap up with espressos and sweets.
Sunday 27 December
Start your day with a generous breakfast and spend the rest of the day however you like. Take a walk, visit our spa, explore Ootmarsum, or simply enjoy a relaxing day in and around the country house.
In the evening, we’ll wrap up the Christmas season with a culinary treat: the four-course “After Christmas” menu.
New Year’s Eve
Tuesday 29 December
We invite you to join us in saying goodbye to the year! Take your time getting here, enjoy the estate, and let’s count down together to the final days of 2026.
Wednesday 30 December
Enjoy your stay during the day, and join us in the evening for the “Adieu 2026” four-course dinner.
Thursday 31 December – New Year’s Eve
We’ll start New Year’s Eve with a generous breakfast buffet. In the afternoon, mulled wine, hot chocolate, ‘oliebollen’, apple pastries, and ‘knieperkes’ will be waiting for you in our winter garden. Anyone who’d like to can go watch the traditional carbide shooting at our ‘Noabers’ place.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., we’ll welcome you with a glass of champagne and culinary bites. This will be followed by an informal end-of-year tasting event, during which the dishes will be prepared à la minute in the restaurant. During this Table d’hôtes, you’ll share a table with other guests, and Moon About will provide the live musical entertainment.
The New Year’s Eve party starts around 10:00 p.m. We’ll count down to 2027 together and ring in the new year with champagne and fireworks. The DJ will provide the music, while gin and tonics and other cocktails will be served at the cocktail bar.
Friday 1 January – New Year’s Day
After a festive evening, we’ll start the new year at a relaxed pace with a late breakfast. A comfortable way to wrap up the New Year’s Eve package and a wonderful start to 2027.

Some moments you wish would last just a little longer. Celebrate the holidays together, enjoy festive evenings around the table, and make memories that will linger even after December.
