For fifty years, De Bloemenbeek’s gastronomic philosophy has been founded on classic French-Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied by the best wines from around the whole world.
The excellent wines in our cellar have been carefully sampled, selected and collected over the years. The principle is that the various tastes, identities and characters of the wines should strengthen or complement our dishes where possible. In addition, we enjoy seeking out new and exciting combinations of food and drink with you personally during special tasting sessions.
The better wines from France, Europe and South Africa feature strongly. France and the old wine regions of Europe speak for themselves. The South African wines reflect our partnership and collaboration with the Wedgeview Country House & Spa in Stellenbosch.
In keeping with our passion for local produce, our wine menu features wines from Twente and other parts of our country. You can now also enjoy our own Cuvee Bloemenbeek, produced in collaboration with Hester and André Roelofs’ vineyard, wine estate De Hakenberg. This vineyard has a unique soil composition, a sophisticated fertilisation plan, strictly limited production output and a successful hybridisation programme: the basis for our premium quality wine.
